The group was founded on the ideal of finding scientific evidence to better understand these phenomena, as well as, to help those who are being plagued by it. As a group West Virginia Paranormal Investigations is always looking to help those in need, even if that means just lending an ear for listening. Members of W.V.P.I. understand that a majority of paranormal claims can be explained away by simple everyday explanations, but we also understand that some things are truly unexplainable, which leads us to our motto "Striving the Explain the Unexplained." West Virginia Paranormal Investigations investigated everything from historical landmarks like the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum to one room school houses (and yes we have done both) in an attempt to find legitimate evidence of the activity taking place. We also investigate private residences, at no cost to the home owner, when contacted. We investigate the paranormal because we are fascinated by and truly enjoy it.
